It was our first and famous Clan war ever,we feared that KTHX will pwn us because they had some deadliest fighters like Rav,Onca and Garganre ,but we were wrong... our members fought fearlessly until they got victory.and now we have taken the title as the first clan to win the first clan match in GLK history:) , Thanks for the players those who helped to win the clan match including the spectators (Xearslovasky , RamEEz).

8/12/07 - kthx vs Crysis Avengers [results] The Crysis Avengers prevailed in the very first GLK CounterStrike Clan battle against KTHX. 5 Maps, 10 rounds each - and the Crysis Avengers convincingly established their dominance over KTHX with a 39 to 31 point score.
Teams had to be cut down to 3 players since some KTHX members had trouble attending the game.

Crysis Avengers vs Revengers promised to be a close match with equally talented players on both teams. 20 rounds on four maps were played, with clans switching teams after 10 rounds. The Crysis Avengers won the toss and chose to go Terror first - a decision that might have affected Revenger morale and ultimately decided the match.
Three of the four maps were deathmatch style, with cs_assult being the only objective based map. The Crysis Avengers showed dominance over the Revengers from the beginning, winning the first map - cs_bloodstrike - with a score of 6 - 4. This win was despite having one less player on their team, making this clan war a 3 v 4 for most of the fight.
The Revengers managed to come back on a couple of occassions - awp_map_fair round 1 and aim_ak-colt round 2 were theirs by a small margin. The rest of the rounds were dominated by CA convincingly, with even cs_assault going in their favor 8 - 2 and 9 - 1.

After a significant period of going back and forth it seemed the teams were very well balanced. Neither team could get a planted bomb and defend it for 30 seconds. The breakthrough came when Armz and Kaynine of the n00b alliance managed to push through enemy lines and get a planted bomb - 30 seconds and a carpet bombing later the alliance had their first round win. That was the tipping point. The alliance managed two more wins before 1Blood started camping the bomb. They positioned themselves on the top floor of the building in front of their bomb site and held off the n00bs for a good 15 minutes or so. The only time they lost the bomb was when the carrier made a run for it and got gunned down mid map. One more win for the n00b alliance and the map was changed at a score of 5 - 0 to the n00bs."

Much closer than the previous round, both clans had the lead during various parts of the game. A lot of teamwork was involved, and that was evident with the constant chatter on voice com. The sound of Killer9's .50cal sniper rifle was heard throughout the map as he gunned down n00bs. 1Blood sported two snipers and it seemed to be working early game. n00b alliance went all out semi automatic and automatic weapons + the odd RPG. Grenades were flying, especially during close combat combined with the Martyrdom perk. After taking and then losing the lead a few times, the n00bs pulled ahead around the 500 point mark and the 30mins of gameplay ended with a score of 580 - 500, n00bs.
Round 3:
Game Mode: Domination
Map: Bog
A miscommunication combined with possible cases of 'fowl excrement' syndrome () lead to 1Blood losing two of their members. With a lack of players to represent them 1Blood defaulted and the game went to n00bs.
